STAFF
PASTOR
MUSIC MINISTER
Danny Lovelace has enjoyed music all his life because “my mother sang to me from birth.“ He learned all the popular and gospel songs and sang in the children's choir at church. At age 11 Danny started leading congregational music and continued until college.
Working in hospital laboratories since college he has been involved in various churches in each community he lived. Upon moved to Gainesville, Texas in 1980, he was looking for a church that had services on Sunday evenings since he was “on-call” or working Sunday morning a couple of times a month. Westminster Presbyterian was the only church he visited that had evening services, so he joined in June of 1980. After singing with the choir for about a year, he was asked to lead the music and has led the music program at Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 26 years. Danny also sings and plays in a bluegrass gospel ensemble.
